How you can use the Best of competition to promote your business (for free!)

In this episode of Business Matters, presented by Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, host Rob Cupello is joined by Lucas Griffin, Owner and President of Secure-Rite Mobile Storage.

Secure-Rite is not only a household name in British Columbia, but they are also the proud sponsor of this year's Best of Kelowna and Best of Penticton competitions, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to their local community.

“We put community first because community has always been a big part of who we are,” explains Griffin.

Their genuine desire to support fellow local businesses with their profits and voice is exactly what drew them to sponsor Best of Kelowna in the first place.

“This is our fourth year. When we sat down with Nikki and others four years ago, it just made sense from a community perspective that it was something that we wanted to do.”

Secure-Rite's values also include a relentless pursuit of excellence, making the Best of competition a perfect fit for them.

“When you come to an award like Best of Kelowna, when you’re recognizing excellence in local companies, it just is this blend of community and excellence that made a lot of sense for us,” he continues.

“It’s a way for us to give back to the community, but also a way for us to recognize excellence in the businesses around us.”

Griffin also draws on his marketing background, sharing some valuable advice on how businesses can leverage the Best of competition to promote themselves.

To learn more about Secure-Rite's commitment to supporting it’s community, some marketing strategies and Griffin's insights into making the most out of Best of, be sure to tune in to the full episode.
