Kamloops cyclists taking part in the Go By Bike Week will be offered free transit from May 29 to June 4.
All people need to do is use the bus bike racks or show their bike helmet when boarding the bus for those longer commutes.
All BC Transit buses have bike racks for people to combine two forms of sustainable transit, says the transportation company.
This can be especially useful if the weather changes throughout the day and makes cycling less favourable if it starts to rain or becomes too warm in the afternoon.
People are reminded that bike space is limited and isn’t always guaranteed.
