Golden Tide gear up for first home games of season versus Cascades

The Victoria Golden Tide collegiate baseball team will play its first home games of the season this Sunday against the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades in the back half of a home-and-home set.

The Tide opened their 2023 campaign with three losses and a win against the Okanagan College Coyotes last weekend in Kelowna.

They will take on a UFV squad that posted a perfect 4-0 record in their opening series against the Edmonton Collegiate Hawks last weekend in Chilliwack.

The first two games are set to begin at 12 pm and 3 pm on Saturday, Apr. 1 at Fairfield Park in Chilliwack, BC, while the final two will be held at 1 pm and 4 pm at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria.

The Golden Tide are a collegiate baseball team made up of students from the University of Victoria and Camosun College.
