The 17-year-old excelled both on the ice and in the classroom for Victoria this year, earning top marks and tallying 33 points (eight goals, 25 assists) in 67 games played, which ranked second amongst all Royals blueliners.

He also collected a pair of Royals’ team awards, being named the Jo-Ann Thompson Foundation Scholastic Player of the Year and the team’s Rookie of the Year last week.

The winner of the WHL Scholastic Player of the Year will be announced on Monday, May 8th.
