VicPD seek witnesses, dashcam footage after cyclist hit downtown

Victoria Police are looking for witnesses and dashcam footage after a cyclist was hit yesterday morning.

Just after 6:30 am, officers were called to the scene of a motor vehicle incident involving a cyclist near the intersection of Bay Street and Vancouver Street.

The cyclist was taken to hospital and the area of Bay Street between Cook Street and Quadra Street remained closed until about 12:30 pm.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage to contact the VicPD Report Desk at (250) 995-7654, extension 1.
