Kelowna, BC – GonzoOkanagan.com is pleased to announce this year’s headliners for the annual GonzoFest 2023 music festival concert that takes place on June 17, 2023, at the Sunset Ranch Golf & Country Club in Kelowna, BC.
GonzoFest was previously part of the GonzoOkanagan.com Music Industry Golf Tournament & Festival, however, due to the ever-expanding success of both events, and to facilitate the ticket purchasing process, the two events are now under separate titles—but these events, along with the Gonzo Okanagan People’s Choice Music Awards, are all one big extravaganza paying tribute to music and community, the local music scene, and a really great time!
Keeping with the golf tournaments “brining back the 80s” 2023 theme, Canada’s own Headpins promise to Turn it Loud as the featured headliner for the GonzoFest 2023 music festival concert celebration.
The Headpins are excited to introduce the mega talented Rosa Laricchiuta as their new lead singer. Prepare to be blown away by powerful vocals, and an energy and style that perfectly fits this legendary band. The Headpins continue to carry the torch and legacy of the late Brian ‘Too Loud’ MacLeod with founding member Ab Bryant on bass, original drummer Bernie Aubin, Tony Dellacroce on guitar, and Alfie Galpin on keys.
Opening for the Headpins are The Yellow Brick Road Experience featuring Andrew Johns and Kelowna’s Instario.
The Yellow Brick Road Experience is an all start 10-piece Sir Elton John tribute band, performing all the hits, in their original keys, from Elton John’s timeless musical catalogue. Not to be missed!
Instario is a 5-piece classic rock band with 4-part vocal harmonies, hard hitting groves and smooth sounds, are a sure bet to get you rocking. Inspired by Journey, Kansas, Bon Jovi, and Van Halen to name a few.
Gate opens at 3:00 PM. Show 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Beverage garden on site. Tickets at Gonzofest 2023!
