A major bridge in the US city of Baltimore has collapsed after a container ship crashed into it. Several vehicles fell into the River Patapsco after the Francis Scott Key Bridge was brought down.

Canada's maple syrup reserve has reached a 16-year low. The Quebec-based store of tree sap, which is designed to hold 133 million pounds, contained a total of 6.9 million pounds in 2023.

The head of Russia's main intelligence agency has suggest the UK, US and Ukraine could have been responsible for the Moscow terror attack on Friday in which over 130 people were murdered. Alexander Bortnikov, who leads the FSB, was backed by President Vladimir Putin, who also said the attack could be linked to Ukraine and the West.
