PHOTOS: Dogs galore at Kelowna’s Apple Bowl this weekend

There was a ton of tail waging and treats being handed out as canines of all breeds and sizes competed in the Kelowna Kennel Club Dog Show on Saturday.

With the weather generally cooperating, participants alongside their prized canines displayed their skills in various events.

The seventh annual show started on Friday and will run through Monday beside the Apple Bowl.

The show is open to the public, but only dogs who are a part of the competition are allowed on the grounds.

There are numerous events taking place such as scent detection, herding and more, and grading the dogs on their abilities are judges from across BC.

Alongside the competition rings are vendors specializing in canine products and a food truck (for humans).
