In his first season with the Warriors, Løkkeberg has not disappointed.
He’s currently third on the team in scoring with 20 points in 21 games, eight of those being goals.
A recent commit to Bowling Green University to continue his career in the NCAA next season, this won’t be the first time Løkkeberg has represented his country internationally.
Last year, he helped Norway win the WJC at the Division 1 level, which earned the country a promotion into the main event this year for the first time since their demotion in 2014.
Norway will play this year’s tournament in Group B alongside the United States, Czechia, Slovakia and Switzerland.
Løkkeberg will be off to Sweden to join his teammates for a camp and exhibition games ahead of the start of the tournament on Boxing day.
They’ll have a big test to start the round robin, as they’ll face off against the US on Dec. 26.
