Canucks back on the ice and seeking series-clinching win

The Vancouver Canucks versus the Edmonton Oilers is the last second-round series of the NHL postseason and the Canucks will look to move on tonight in game six.

The Canucks hold a 3-2 lead in the series after JT Miller scored a last-minute goal to snag the win at home on Thursday.

Both teams have now made their way to Edmonton as the Oilers look to keep their season alive and force a game seven in Vancouver.

With an appearance in tonight’s game, Arturs Silovs will have played in his ninth playoff game, matching his career total for regular season appearances.

The Canucks rookie has bounced back after the first two games of the series, letting in no more than three goals a match and achieving at least a .900 save percentage.

Vancouver will once again attempt to contain Edmonton’s power play unit as the Canucks successfully stopped all five chances the Oilers had last game.

Puck drop is at 5 pm PDT.

Two games took place Friday night.

The Florida Panthers scored a late goal to win their series against Boston and the Dallas Stars beat Colorado in double overtime to end the Avalanche’s season.
